Balanced Single Acting Seal
High-pressure balanced seal for food-processing equipment.
Series IPSM 718 seals are developed for high-pressure applications in food-processing industries - for Votators, crystallisers and similar equipment. Seal faces are tungsten carbide against tungsten carbide, with elastomers in silicone or Viton.
The balanced face design allows IPSM 718 to hold sealing pressures far above those a standard unbalanced seal can manage, without excessive face load or heat.
TC/TC face pairing gives high abrasion resistance for viscous and crystallising food media.
