Balanced Compact Cartridge Seal
Multi-spring balanced cartridge seal for heavy slurry and fatty-acid duty.
Series IPSM 716 is a compact multi-spring balanced cartridge seal developed for equipment handling slurries, sludge, syrups, bitumen, fatty acids and similar demanding media. The springs are isolated from the sealed fluid by a dynamic O-ring.
IPSM 716 shares the isolated-spring construction of the 715 series and is configured for the heaviest, most fouling services - bitumen, fatty acids and thick sludges.
The dynamic O-ring keeps the drive positive and prevents product build-up from locking the seal.
