High-performance non-metallic pump for extreme chemical duty.
A high-performance non-metallic pump either lined with, or moulded completely from, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) - engineered for extreme environments handling highly aggressive, fuming and abrasive chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, caustic soda and chlorine.
PVDF gives exceptional chemical resistance to strong acids and solvents, high thermal stability - operating comfortably at temperatures up to about 120 °C - and superior mechanical strength compared with polypropylene.
Its non-stick surface prevents internal scaling, which keeps performance stable on fouling duties.
