A seal for every process duty
Our mechanical seal range covers general-purpose wave-spring seals for water and effluent, multi-spring balanced seals for high pressure and high shaft float, compact cartridge seals with isolated springs for slurries and crystallising media, PTFE bellow seals for extremely corrosive service, and welded metal bellow seals for hot hydrocarbon and edible-oil duty.
Because we build to the application, we can match an existing seal from any make for a straight interchange, or re-engineer a problem seal that is failing prematurely.
Built, set and tested before it ships
Cartridge seals are assembled, set and pressure-tested at our works so they can be fitted on site without face setting and without specialist labour. This shortens plant downtime and removes a common source of early failure.
Repair and reconditioning
We also recondition used mechanical seals of most makes - re-lapping or replacing faces, renewing elastomers and springs, and testing the rebuilt seal - as a lower-cost alternative to new for non-critical duties.

Do you manufacture mechanical seals to match other brands?
Yes. Send us the existing seal's make and type, or the seal drawing, or a sample, and we will supply a dimensionally interchangeable seal in the face and elastomer combination suited to your duty.
What shaft sizes do you cover?
Standard ranges run from 16 mm to 350 mm shaft diameter depending on the series. Larger sizes are made to order.
Can you supply seals for agitators and reactors, not just pumps?
Yes - Series IPSM 723 and IPSM 725 are factory-assembled cartridge seals designed specifically for stainless steel agitators, available as wet-running units with clean lubrication of the faces.
